Clare is considered by many to be the home of traditional Irish music.
It also has some of the most spectacular views from the lakes of East Clare to the Cliffs of Moher and Loop Head. The Burren, one of Europe's most beautiful geological wonders lies in West Clare.
Ennis, the capital of County Clare ranks high on Ireland's Tidy Town competition and received the award of Ireland's Tidiest Large Urban Centre in 2008 & 2009.
County Clare offers superb surfing trails on the beaches of Lahinch and Fanore. West Clare offers breathtaking scenery, dolphin watching and walking trails which traverse rural villages and towns, historic sites and the majestic Atlantic coastline.
