Staff were excellent: 5-star review
Twaters2017 (Wisconsin) [TripAdvisor] John, Neil, Jeff and their staff were excellent. They all gave personal attention to the little details and were very accommodating to our group. We planned a family reunion from the US, brining 20 of us and an unknown number from Ireland. The 2 group meals were great and they arrange to have our group gathering in the large old chapel which was a perfect space.
Outstanding facility & location: 5-star review
JohnS [TripAdvisor] This facility is a four-star facility with clean & pleasant rooms, an enjoyable pub and refined restaurant. It is in the heart of Ennis town and close to everything. The staff are friendly but the two who really made our time pleasant was Aidin I and Aidin II (Meave). Their welcoming natures and engaging styles really helped us better appreciate Ennis town.
Reidstrips (Kentucky) [TripAdvisor] Parking is on site and amenities with restaurant and bar make it very convenient. It is centrally located, making walking around the beautiful town of Ennis easy and comfortable. An easy drive from the airport at Shannon.
Best Sunday lunch in town
Deirdre Shannon Dromey (Ennis, Ireland) [Facebook] Sunday lunch, by far the best lunch in town, top quality roast beef, great service from Martin yesterday, very attentive and professional.
Afternoon Tea – Lovely peaceful surroundings
Kate Clohessy (Ennis, Ireland) [Facebook] Met two of my friends for afternoon tea in the Library in Temple Gate. We were served tea/coffee immediately (and had refills during our meal) followed by cake stands full of lovely goodies. I even had my own stand of gluten-free sandwiches and sweet treats as they had been told I suffered from coeliac disease when it was booked. Everything was delicious, we couldn’t finish it all so had it packed up to bring home for later! A very enjoyable afternoon in lovely peaceful surroundings and fab food, all for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back again.
