“We stumbled upon Temple Gate, simply looking for a hotel close to Shannon Airport and was pleasantly pleased with our accommodations, so much so we stayed another night. The hotel staff was exceptionally welcoming, assisted in every way to make our stay memorable. From front desk services, room comfort and other service, and meals in the pub, we couldn’t be more pleased. I especially want to give a shout out to our receptionist Maria for all she did to make our stay so enjoyable, giving us great tips for exploring the town, including ‘must-see’ attractions, and just otherwise taking the time from a very busy workday to give us her uninterrupted attention. For these reasons, and others, we will use Temple Gate again as our number 1 choice in our return trips to Ireland.”
“Stayed here for one night after arriving at Shannon Airport—an easy, quick drive from the terminal. The staff were warm and welcoming upon arrival. We had dinner at the Preachers Pub, where the service was excellent. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. While there was no air conditioning, it wasn’t needed during our late-September stay. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the city center, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.”
