Chapter 24 Gastro Pub was awarded “Best Place to Eat in Clare” at the Clare Business Excellence awards. Morning Snacks are served from 10.30am to 12noon everyday and our all day menu is served from 12.30pm to 9pm.
Our Head Chef, together with his creative team, ensures that each meal is an exceptional culinary experience using only the finest of produce from the local area. The Temple Gate Hotel is the ideal place to stop for a bit to eat as it is close to all local landmarks in Ennis such as, Cusack Park only 8 minutes’ walk away, Clare Museum and the Daniel O’Connell monument.

“I came here on my last full night of my British Isles trip, and I had such an amazing time! The wings were utterly delicious, even much so, I had TWO plates. I would recommend their BBQ selection, but the Hot ‘N Spicy was good too. The best server was Neil, who was helpful in passing out plates for the group I was staying with and was an absolute gem!!”

“We have stayed at the Temple Gate Hotel before but they have become one of my favorites when staying in Ireland. The hotel is convenient to Shannon Airport, and is situated in the heart of a lovely town center. This stay was very special. We spent time in the Pub to watch the 6 Nations finals, had dinner in the new Gate 69 Restaurant (which was amazing!), and enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was fresh, delicious, and well-presented. It was a fabulous stay for our last night in Ireland.”
“Fab food and friendly attentive staff. Attended Saturday evening of a Bank Holiday weekend. Greeted by a nice welcome and a smile. Ordered a steak sandwich which was beautifully cooked to perfection and presented beautifully on the plate. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will be back. I also heard great reviews from customers in the bar about their new gate 96 restaurant which recently opened so maybe I’ll have to give this a try too!”
