Outstanding

"Both myself and my husband have stayed in this hotel a few times before and we can honestly say that it has always been a most enjoyable stay. All the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I want to mention in particular Marie and Kasey from the Front Office, who have always gone the extra mile for us. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. We even got a free room upgrade and late check-out the last time. It was perfect in every way. We have eaten both in the restaurant and the bar and the food is lovely, in particular the duck deserves a mention, which was cooked to perfection. It is also lovely to see the management team around mingling with the guests and being clearly visible. Thank you to all of the staff. We cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. We will for sure return soon."

"Had another wonderful stay at Templegate Hotel. Friendly helpful staff. comfy bed in a room with all the necessary facilities. Very clean. Location is central with free car parking in front of the hotel. Great place to stay and explore the historical town but also a great base for west Clare. Had a meal one night in the Preachers bar and it was excellent. Fresh produce excellently presentec and great value. Breakfast could not be faulted either. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and each time I go back I know why! Top Class."

Lovely stay for our first days in Ireland

"Perfect beginning to our vacation in Ireland! Quiet, good location for those without a car, easy walk to the bus/train for an afternoon trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend."

"The wife and I had a lovely lunch here in the busy bar/restaurant. We were seated on arrival at a high table but minutes later we were asked if we wanted a more comfortable table that became available. We were attended to very quickly and the food arrived in good time. The food was fresh and very hot. Lovely large chicken goujons with salad and a fine pot of French fries. Pork loin with apple sauce, gravy and mixed veg was enjoyed by my wife. Excellent, efficient staff working well together. Very busy which is always a good sign. We'll done to all."

Location First Class

"We stayed one night in your beautiful Hotel, it was our first trip to Ennis as we were passing through on a roadtrip to Cork. Louise was so friendly and helpful on Reception. When we returned to the Hotel after a great night's entertainment at Paddy Quinns we were greeted by Michael the night porter who advised us to get a nightcap in the Bar,he then came to chat to us telling stories and jokes, making us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, oh and thanks for the chocolates".

Perfect site for our Family Reunion

"Amazing site for a family reunion. Accommodations are great, right in the heart of Ennis, near all the County Clare attractions. The staff was wonderful to work with and made our group of 30 feel right at home. We had a wonderful dinner, with traditional Irish music arranged by Marie, and lots of fun in the pub. You won't be disappointed."

Felt so refreshed leaving. I wouldn't stay anywhere in Ennis, this is my very favourite

Great Hotel with the Friendliest Staff

"This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Ennis and other parts of Clare. The rooms are a lovely size and the shower is nice and powerful. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff at Templegate every need was catered for, with a special thanks to the restaurant staff ! We rang ahead to see if they could cater for a vegan diet and the staff went above and beyond to make sure there was a variety to choose from, the food was delicious especially at breakfast. We can't wait to stay here again the next time we pass through Clare. Thanks again to all the staff at Templegate hotel for making us feel so welcome".
