Loved our stay in Ennis
This hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms were clean and the staff was terrific. There was a great restaurant/pub on the premises. There was also free parking. Ennis is a great town to stay and get a local flare. There are many pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend.
Great staff, lovely hotel, very good location!
Wonderful staff and beautiful hotel. My wife and I stayed two nights at Temple Gate and were met with a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself is charming and has it's own restaurant and pub, which was very convenient. The hotel was in a very good location and walking distance to everything we wanted/needed. Would recommend to anyone staying in Ennis.
Great Hotel
From arrival to departure our time at the Temple Gate was really good. Lovely reception staff, a warm clean room with plenty towels etc, a well staffed bar and the same for breakfast. Centrally located hotel with access to various amenities in Ennis. Would defintiely stay again.
Wonderful Holiday !!
This is the only place you should stay if visiting Ennis. My husband and I stayed here for 12 days in February. We were given a very nice Executive Double B&B room on the third floor overlooking "the Square" thanks to the efforts of Tom Guerin. The room and bathroom were spacious, plenty of towels and hot water, super clean and had three chairs and a round table. The mattress and sleep quality were fantastic. Very little noise at all. We even received the American TV station CNN on our TV which kept us in the loop back in the USA. We have only two small complaints, there were no potatoes included in any breakfast choice and we had to ask to have the heat turned on in the room every evening. Very minor things.
What makes the Temple Gate so special is its staff. Unbelievable employees !! We want to compliment many of them; Kasey, Umut, Marie and Amy at the front desk; Evelyn, Mande, Tanya, Latoya and Chef Stella at breakfast; Katie, Ciara, and management trainee Lee in Preacher's Bar. A very special thank you to Martina, the wonderful lady who took care of us on the third floor. John and Paul Madden should be super thankful for people like these. It's called hospitality.
