Clare County Museum
Across our cobblestone courtyard lies the Clare County Museum, which captures the story of its people stretching back thousands of years at a fascinating exhibition called ‘Riches of Clare’ under the themes of Earth, Power, Faith and Water.
The story of County Clare is told over 8,000 years using authentic artefacts, colourful text panels and computer interactives. The museum is open Tuesday to Saturday closed bank holiday Saturdays and Mondays.
Admission is free and it is the ideal starting point to exploring all there is to know about Ennis town and County Clare.
